 About Us
Auburn West is a Public School located across from the Auburn Botanic Gardens.
A $7 million refurbishment program, completed December 2003, has given Auburn West Public School facilities of the highest standard.
Our school provides a quality curriculum where each child is able to achieve his or her personal best in academic, cultural and sporting endeavours.
Our school programs include:
- An award winning literacy program, which is recognised for its comprehensive approach.
- Successful numeracy programs which provide opportunities for success for all students.
- Enrichment groups for talented children in literacy, numeracy and creative arts.

Parents are invited to come to our Friday morning parent group meetings, and other events as advertised throughout the year (check the Calendar and the Parents page).
Playgroup is held on Monday and Thursday mornings during school terms for pre-schoolers accompanied by a parent.
